Delta Gets New Police Commissioner as CP Samuel Erale Etaifo Takes Charge

Delta State has a new Commissioner of Police following the deployment of CP Samuel Erale Etaifo to head the state’s police command.

The posting, approved by the Police Service Commission (PSC), is part of a nationwide redeployment of Commissioners of Police aimed at strengthening leadership across state commands.

CP Etaifo takes over at a time when Delta continues to grapple with security challenges, including kidnapping, cult-related violence, armed robbery and other criminal activities. His appointment is expected to usher in a renewed drive to improve public safety and enhance policing across the state.

In announcing the deployment, the PSC urged the newly posted commissioners to uphold professionalism, remain politically neutral and discharge their duties with integrity in line with the laws of the country.

The appointment marks a new chapter for the Delta State Police Command as residents look forward to stronger security operations and improved protection of lives and property.
