Family Demands Justice After Son’s Death, Alleges NDLEA Officer’s Involvement in Sapele

The family of a young man, Ochuko has called for justice following his alleged killing in Sapele, Delta State, accusing an official of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), identified only as Samson, of taking him from their home last month.

According to the family, Ochuko’s body was later recovered from a river. They also alleged that they were offered ₦1 million to bury him quickly because the corpse had become bloated and was reportedly rejected by mortuaries.

Describing the deceased’s mother as a widow struggling to care for her children, the family is urging the relevant authorities to investigate the circumstances surrounding Ochuko’s death and ensure that those responsible are brought to justice.

The NDLEA has not issued an official response as of the time of this report, and no comments from the Delta State Police
