New Era of Hospitality in Warri as Movela Hotels Opens

A new chapter of hospitality business has begun in Warri, as Movela Hotels, a 73-room luxury hotel, officially opened its doors on Sunday, July 19, with a grand ceremony attended by prominent political leaders, business executives, traditional figures, among other distinguished guests.

Located along Airport Road, by Kosini Junction, Warri, Delta State, the hotel oned by John Uduaghan was officially declared open by Hon. Thomas Ereyitomi, Member Representing Warri Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives.

Speaking at the event, Mona Uduaghan, Chief Executive Officer of Movela Hotels, said the vision behind the project was to build a hospitality facility that meets international standards while offering guests the comfort, safety, cleanliness, and exceptional service of home.

She also thanked everyone who contributed to transforming the once waterlogged site into the modern hotel.

Movela Hotels offers 73 rooms across seven categories—Standard, Deluxe, Deluxe Studio, Twin Bed, Studio Apartment, Executive Suite and Presidential Suite.

Its facilities include a conference hall, meeting room, VIP lounge, restaurant, bar, fitness centre, swimming pool, lounge and a second-floor lobby, while 84 staff have been employed to provide hospitality services.

Other dignitaries at the event were Hon. Austin Uroye; Member Representing Warri South Constituency I, Hon. Vincent Uduaghan; former Delta Commissioner, Chief Mason Udele, Chief Vincent Okudolor, captains of industry and political leaders.

The ceremony featured prayers, goodwill messages, and a tour of the new facility.
