Delta Central APC Rallies Behind Tinubu, Oborevwori as Amori Declares Ethiope Federal Constituency 100% for 2027

Political leaders and stakeholders across Delta Central Senatorial District have reaffirmed their support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Delta State Governor Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori and candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The declaration came during a stakeholders’ meeting held at the Petroleum Training Institute (PTI) Conference Centre in Effurun, where party leaders, government officials, local government chairmen and stakeholders from the eight local government areas of Delta Central gathered to review the party’s preparations for the next election cycle.

A vote of confidence was passed on President Tinubu and Governor Oborevwori, with the motion moved by Olorogun O’tega Omerhor and seconded by Rt. Hon. Halims Agoda.

One of the key moments of the meeting came when the Chief Adviser to the Delta State Governor, Senator Chief Ighoyota Amori, who also chairs the Ethiope Federal Constituency Forum, declared that the constituency was fully committed to delivering victory for President Tinubu, Governor Oborevwori and all APC candidates in the 2027 elections.

Amori described the forthcoming elections as a collective responsibility for every member of the party rather than the ambition of a few individuals. He urged party leaders and supporters across Delta Central to remain united, strengthen grassroots mobilisation and avoid internal divisions that could weaken the party’s chances at the polls.

He stressed the importance of consolidating party structures across communities, saying sustained unity and effective mobilisation would be crucial to the APC’s electoral success in 2027.

Observers at the meeting viewed Amori’s remarks as a strong call for cohesion within the party, noting that his emphasis on unity reflected ongoing efforts to strengthen the APC’s political base across Delta Central.

The meeting concluded with party leaders and stakeholders renewing their commitment to intensify grassroots engagement and build on the support expressed at the gathering as preparations for the 2027 general elections gather momentum.
