The Nigerian DJ Association has announced a temporary ban on all songs by , directing DJs within and outside the country to remove his music from their playlists following a reported altercation between the artiste and DJ Tunez at a private event in Lagos.

Reports indicate that Burna Boy and members of his entourage were allegedly involved in a physical confrontation with Disc Jockey Michael Babatunde Adeyinka, popularly known as DJ Tunez.

Eyewitness accounts circulating online suggest the incident occurred at a nightclub, where a disagreement reportedly escalated into a physical clash. Several individuals were said to have been involved, with DJ Tunez allegedly assaulted during the altercation.

In response, the Nigerian DJ Association, in a statement shared on Instagram on Tuesday, expressed its support for DJ Tunez and urged DJs to stand in solidarity while maintaining professionalism within the entertainment industry.
