Nigerian Forward Victor Udoh Dies at 21 in Abuja

Nigerian forward Victor Udoh has died at the age of 21 in Abuja, Federal Capital Territory.

According to The Mirror (UK), Udoh reportedly passed away under “suspicious circumstances,” though the exact cause of death has not yet been confirmed at the time of this report.

The former Royal Antwerp and Southampton player was found dead, with investigations ongoing into the circumstances surrounding his passing.

Udoh had recently returned to Nigeria following the end of his stint with Czech side Dynamo České Budějovice, whom he joined after leaving Southampton in 2025.

Before his move to England, he featured for Belgian club Royal Antwerp, where he progressed through the ranks after joining from Abuja-based Hypebuzz.
