Oborevwori Appoints Abedi as New Chief Medical Director of DELSUTH

Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has approved the appointment of Professor Harrison Okoro Abedi as the new Chief Medical Director (CMD) of Delta State University Teaching Hospital (DELSUTH), Oghara.

The appointment was approved on Tuesday as part of efforts to strengthen healthcare delivery and enhance the management of the state’s foremost tertiary health institution.

Professor Abedi is expected to provide leadership for the hospital, oversee its clinical and administrative operations, and drive policies aimed at improving healthcare services, medical training, and research.

The appointment takes immediate effect.
