Aisha Achimugu Loses ₦4.6bn Jewellery, 11 Exotic Cars to FG

Businesswoman Aisha Achimugu has lost assets worth over ₦8.9 billion after a Federal Capital Territory (FCT) High Court in Apo, Abuja, ordered their final forfeiture to the Federal Government.
The order, delivered on Thursday by Justice Jude Onwugbuzie, followed an application by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), which asked the court to permanently confiscate the assets.
Among the properties forfeited are jewellery valued at ₦4.645 billion, 11 exotic vehicles worth ₦4.293 billion, $50,000 in cash, and another ₦30 million.
The assets had earlier been placed under interim forfeiture while legal proceedings continued. In his ruling, Justice Onwugbuzie granted the EFCC’s request, making the forfeiture permanent.
The judgment means the jewellery, vehicles and cash linked to Achimugu will now belong to the Federal Government.
